One of the great things about blogging is that you become involved in the huge blogging community that is out there. There’s always nonsense news reports saying that social media and the internet are causing people to lose their social skills, and people are replacing real life relationships with online, virtual ones.
Well I think that’s a load of old tosh! The online blogging community is big and welcoming and just lovely. Bloggers regularly hold meet-ups as a way of meeting like-minded blogging friends in real life. Likewise there are always online chats going on on Twitter.
Another great way of becoming involved in the blogging community it to take part in challenges. And the #2014BloggerChallenge set by Gaby at anothergirlyblg is one of those challenges that is open to everyone, and will be really fun to be involved in.
So, what is the #2014BloggerChallenge?
The challenge is to write a blogpost twice a month about different topics. The #2014bloggerchallenge posts will go live during the 1st and the 3rd weeks of each month. Everyone who signs up will be sent an email with the post topics. The topic ideas are there to give you new ideas and encourage you to write about things you wouldn’t normally write about.
There’s still time to get involved. Just email Gaby with your blog URL, email address and name and she’ll add you to the list. So go on – be one of the 400 or so bloggers taking part in this challenge, it’s going to be great fun!
