I’m not a big fan of eyeshadow. Mainly because I am rubbish at applying it, and I have quite hooded eyelids, so there’s not much ‘lid’ to apply stuff to.
But I can’t help but buy eyeshadow and have a dabble every now and again. Most of the time it ends up looking like I’ve been punched in the face!
So it was with trepidation that I purchased a Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Paint. It looks like a lipgloss, but you pop it on your eyelids, not your lips! I tend to think that bronze colours suit my blue eyes and completion, so went with the Golden Bronze colour.
Long wearing eyeshadow for an intense bold look
Scandalous colour impact!

Waterproof & crease-proof with 8-hour wear
I was very dubious about the “crease-proof” claims. I have quite oily skin, and often find that even with a primer, my eyeshadow tends to crease.
A couple of weekends ago I thought I’d try it out. I popped it on in the morning, then went about my day (which consisted of some boring housework, followed by a nice long walk).
I have to say that not only did it apply really well, but it stayed crease free all day. My friends actually commented on how nice it looked (without me prompting them!). So considering I had been all hot and sweaty all day, the fact that it stayed on was fab.
When it came to bed time, it came off very easily (I use Bioderma to take my make up off, which I love, love, love!).
So overall, 10/10. Not sure I can really fault it. I’m possibly even tempted to get some other colours. This is probably a good way to get me out of my bronze rut. If they did a pastel pink or something nice like that I’d definitely snap it up.
Have you tried any Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Paint, or anything similar?
