I’m not a big lover of sunbeds. I don’t think it’s a good idea in this day and age to be blasting yourself with so many cancer inducing rays. You’re not guaranteed to get cancer, but you are pretty much guaranteed to age prematurely – and that’s not something I’m willing to sign up for!
So instead I like to use gradual tanners to build up a nice and healthy, but totally fake glow.
I’ve used my fair share of these in the past, but I’ve never fond one I truly love. Either it’s streaky, too orange, difficult to apply or smells awful.
But I’ve now found one that ticks all my boxes! The Sunkissed Gradual Tanning Lotion in medium is perfect. The colour is really natural and it applies really easily.
As you smooth it in, it goes a bit white and streaky, which is good because you can see exactly where it’s gone and if you’ve missed any bits. Then it absorbs in all really quickly, without leaving any sticky residue or clamminess.
But the best bit (other than the natural looking colour after a few applications) is the smell. It smells like cupcakes. It’s delicious, but quite subtle so it’s not too overpowering.
