If you want a healthy, filling breakfast, then look no further!
This is a great smoothie to make in the mornings and take with you as you’re rushing to work. I sometimes commute to Guildford and Dorking (from Southampton), so a breakfast smoothie like this is great to take with me and drink as I drive up.
It’s very quick and easy to make (which is a good thing when you’re making it first thing in the morning!).
Just throw everything into your blender and blend.
That’s it! Breakfast smoothie made!
Why is this Breakfast Smoothie so good for you?
- Strawberries – great for overall good health; building blood; boosting the immune system; slowing down the signs of ageing; overall skin
- Raspberries – great for maintaining healthy male reproductive function (not that I’m a man, but still, it can’t hurt!); promoting healthy skin; slowing down the signs of ageing; boosting the immune system
I apologise about the quality of the pictures – as you can see from the picture above, it was 6:40am when I was making this. Waaaaay too early. So dark pictures, and no smiles (I’m a right grump in the morning!).
This smoothie is great and really tasty, but strawberries and raspberries are quite expensive at the moment (£2 per punnet in Tescos). So I might wait until the summer before I make any more of these.
