These chocolates are amaaaazing! Harvey Nichols were kind enough to send me a box to review and I’m so glad they did.
This Harvey Nichols Chocolate Selection Box are the kind of chocolates that would make a fantastic gift for any chocolate lover. They were packaged so well that even the unwrapping felt special.
And of course the actual chocolates are absolutely divine. My favourites were the Orange Cointreau and Praline Noisette (but it was hard to choose as they were all really, really lovely). A fantastic treat for this time of year.
The box contains a mix of chocolates, but the most unusual thing about them is that they’re made using moulds are are over 100 years old! Which I think is a pretty cool thing in this day and age.
If you’re anything like me, you’re the kind of person who would buy these chocolates as a gift, but would never think to actually treat yourself to a box just to enjoy for the sake of it. I don’t think I’ve ever bought myself a luxury box of chocolates for myself. Which is crazy, because I am obsessed with chocolate!
So if you’re looking for a present for a difficult to buy for person, or you just fancy indulging in some chocolatey, festive joy, get yourself a box of these. You can pick them up in-store or online here for £29.95. Harvey Nichols also do a range of gorgeous hampers so if you’re looking for a bit more than just chocolates, you can really treat a loved one to something special.
The only thing that let’s this box of yummy chocs down is the chocolate menu card. Instead of a nicely designed, luxury looking card, it’s just a plain white printed card. Like something that’s just been run off on a home printer.
But you’re not eating the card, and if you’re like me you don’t need to look at the card since you’ll be eating them all regardless of the flavour!
Once you’ve scoffed the lot, you can even keep the box to put little nick-naks in. The box is really sturdy and has a lovely old image of the Graunan’s Chinese Theater on the Hollywood Walk of Fame street. It is a perfect size box for lipsticks, nail varnishes or other beauty bits that always seem to be floating about.
Disclosure: I received these chocolates from Harvey Nichols for review purposes free of charge. All opinions expressed are honest and my own, not influenced in any way.
