Recently Tom and I headed out to The Navigator pub in Swanwick, Southampton for a nice spot of lunch.
I had previously been there for a business meeting earlier in the week and had thought it looked like a nice place to come for some lunch.
Tom opted for the beef sandwich which he said was delicious! They certainly didn’t scrimp on the meat filling.
I went for a burger and chips. It’s very rare that you go wrong with a burger, and this was no different. Delicious and juicy, with crispy fries and a beer to wash it all down.
It was nice, although slightly pricey for what it is. I’m not sure I’d go there for lunch again, but I’d definitely go for dinner and a drink. It was just a little bit too quiet and lacking in atmosphere when we went. And if you’re paying £11 for a burger, you want a bit more than just a yummy lunch.
